01 / About
Meet Tully
Class of 2029
After years of trying everything from dance to gymnastics to parkour, I followed my older sister into the barn, climbed on a pony, and something clicked. I loved the challenge of every ride, the different personality each horse brought to it, and the community of riders who made the barn feel like a place I wanted to keep coming back to.
After two years of riding for fun, I moved to Wells Bridge Farm, where I began building the foundation for competitive riding under the training of Paul & Dorothy Rohrbach. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to ride and compete with several different horses, and each one has challenged me in a different way. Learning how to adjust my ride to each horse has been one of the most valuable parts of my development. It has taught me to be patient, adaptable, and thoughtful in the ring, especially when things do not go according to plan.
I currently compete in the 3'3" Equitation Medals, with the goal of continuing to develop at the national level.

06 / Horsemanship
Beyond My Rounds
Horses are a big part of my life outside the show ring. I help care for horses in my neighborhood by feeding, lunging, cleaning stalls, and helping wherever I am needed. As I have gained more experience, I have also really enjoyed taking on a leadership role at the barn, especially encouraging younger riders, helping when I can, and watching their confidence grow along with their riding. I enjoy the everyday work that comes with horses just as much as competing because it reminds me that good horsemanship is built through consistency, responsibility, and time in the barn.
07 / What Others Are Saying
Testimonials
“Tully is a thoughtful, hardworking rider who is always looking for ways to improve. One of her greatest strengths is her coachability. She listens carefully, understands the purpose behind a correction, and works hard to apply it both in the moment and in future rides. She has developed a strong feel for her horses, stays composed under pressure, and approaches both successes and difficult days with the same maturity and determination to keep getting better.
Just as important, Tully is a positive presence in the barn. She is supportive of her teammates, encouraging to younger riders, and genuinely invested in the horses and people around her. Her competitive drive is matched by her work ethic and horsemanship, and she continues to make meaningful progress as both a rider and a competitor. She has a very exciting future ahead of her.”

10 / Goal
Why NCEA
One of my biggest goals is to ride on an NCEA team in college. I want to be part of a program where I can continue developing as a rider while contributing as a hardworking student, supportive teammate, and horsewoman. I am excited by how much I still have to learn and accomplish, and I hope college is another chapter in a life with horses, strong teammates, and opportunities to give back to the sport that has already given me so much.
